CRUISE SOUTHERN EXPERIENCE – 1 NIGHT
From December to April

The Southern coast of Sri Lanka offers many interesting spots worth to be discovered from the sea. This short 24h cruise will make you enjoy the warm and tropical bays of Galle and Weligama, a whales watching tour and a discovery of this beautiful virgin coast.
Day 1 :
Guests embark on board of Jade at 3.30 PM for a duration of 2H30 up to the sunset. Our dedicated crew serves you an aperitif with snacks followed by a sea food diner while the catamaran Jade anchors in the sumptuous and calm bay of Weligama.
Day 2 :
The crew sets sail at dawn to bring guests close to the whales. At 7 AM, guests are awaken and are invited to observe these magnificent cetacean while enjoying a breakfast with its fresh fruits plate and exquisite Ceylan tea. At noon, lunch is served while arriving in thebeautiful Bay of Galle from where guests can observe the fortifications of the Ancient city of Galle, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Guests disembark at 1.30 PM in Galle.

CRUISE SOUTHERN EXPERIENCE – 2 NIGHTS
from December to April

This two nights cruise allows our guests to discover the various points of interest of the Southern coast of Sri Lanka. They will live a true yachting experience in the most beautiful bays of the tropical south of the island. Our dedicated crew will lead guests with pleasure in their amazing universe.
Day 1 :
Guests embark on board of Jade catamaran at 4 PM in Mirissa for a 1H30 sunset cruise while aperitif and snacks will be served. The boat will then anchor in the quiet Bay of Weligama while a fresh fish & sea food barbecue diner will be served under the stars.
Day 2 :
Before dawn, the crew will set sails to the open sea to reach the whales. At 7 AM, guests will be welcomed to observe these magnificent cetaceans and enjoy a full breakfast with fresh tropical fruits and exquisite blended Ceylon tea. At noon, the catamaran will arrive in the sumptuous Bay of Galle where lunch will be served. A visit of the Ancient Fort of Galle, a UNESCO World Heritage, will be organized in the afternoon. Diner is served on board in the calm Bay of Galle.
Day 3:
Following an invigorating breakfast, the catamaran will head towards Weligama. Arrival is planned before lunch at 1.30 PM, a perfect time to enjoy swimming, snorkeling or testing the Sup paddles or the canoes. Our crew will recommend to our guests the best restaurants of Weligama and the area.

CRUISE EAST EXPERIENCE – 6 NIGHTS

from June to September

The East coast of the island was severely affected by the long lasting civil war that ended up in 2009. Today, the East coast is completely safe and offers the vision of deserted beaches totally preserved from the development of tourism. Sail Lanka  herewith proposes a cruise 100% nature at the discovery of a wild coast.
Day 1 :
Guests embark on board of Jade at 3.30 PM in Trincomalee and will sail from Dutch Bay to Back Bay, while observing the magnificent Hindu temple of Koneswaram.. Night at anchorage.
Day 2:
Before dawn, the crew set sails to the open sea to come closer to the whales. At 7 AM, our guests will be invited to observe these gentle giant mammals while enjoying their breakfast. Then, the catamaran will head towards the untouched tropical Bay of Trincomalee. The boat will anchor for the afternoon and the night close to Norway Point from where guests will be welcome to discover the marine environment. Night at anchorage.
Day 3 :
After a good breakfast and a good swim, the boat will head towards Lankapatuna: a famous Buddhist worship place. In the afternoon, our guests will discover the marine environment on board of a traditional fishing barque. Night at anchorage.
Day 4 :
After 3 hours sailing, our guests will arrive in Challitivu: A stuning untouched peninsula where our guests can enjoy swimming, snorkelling, exploring the area with the Sup paddles or our canoes,… Night at anchorage.
Day 5 :
Sailing towards Elephant Rock and snorkeling session on the lively coral reef. In the afternoon, the crew set sails towards the splendid Bay of Passikudah where the boat will anchor. Diner is served on board or guests can choose to dine in the restaurant of the 5 stars hotel on the beach. Night at anchorage.
Day 6 :
Wake up in the turquoise blue waters of Passikudah Bay. After a good dive in the warm ocean, our guests can relax while the crew set sails towards Punnaikkula Point. Free afternoon to enjoy the untouched white sand beach or explore the beautiful surroundings with ourdinghy. Night at anchorage.
Day 7 :
Sailing up to Batticaloa and its coconut fringed coast where our crew will disembark our guests before lunch.
