Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions constitute the agreement between Lanka Holidays.Net (“Company”) and the traveler (“Client”) for confirmed travel services. By confirming a reservation and submitting payment, the Client agrees to the terms outlined below.
1. Reservations & Payment
1.1 Booking Confirmation
A reservation is confirmed upon receipt of the required deposit.
• Tailor-Made Private Journeys – A 30% deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to departure.
• Luxury Villas & Boutique Properties – Deposit requirements vary between 30%–50%, subject to individual property policies.
• Private Aviation, Helicopter Transfers & Yacht Charters – Full payment is required at the time of booking due to supplier contractual commitments.
Bookings made within 60 days of departure require full payment at the time of confirmation.
1.2 Payment Methods
Accepted payment methods include:
• Wire transfer
• Major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
All payments are processed through secure, encrypted platforms. Lanka Holidays.Net does not store full credit card details.
2. Pricing
All prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise stated.
Pricing includes confirmed services as detailed in the final itinerary provided at the time of booking. Optional experiences, upgrades, or additional services requested by the Client may incur supplementary charges.
Government taxes, park fees, and service charges are included where applicable unless otherwise specified.
Quoted pricing is valid for a specified period and subject to availability at the time of confirmation. Prices may be adjusted prior to confirmation due to currency fluctuations, supplier adjustments, or regulatory changes.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
3.1 Tailor-Made Private Journeys
• 90+ days prior to departure – Full refund less non-refundable supplier deposits
• 60–89 days prior to departure – 50% of total booking cost
• 30–59 days prior to departure – 25% of total booking cost
• Within 30 days of departure – Non-refundable due to supplier contractual commitments
Certain luxury lodges, private villas, or specialty services may carry stricter cancellation policies. Any such terms will be communicated at the time of booking.
3.2 Private Aviation & Charter Services
Private jet, helicopter, and yacht bookings are generally non-refundable once confirmed due to supplier contracts.
3.3 Amendments
Date changes or itinerary modifications are subject to availability and supplier terms. Additional costs may apply. Lanka Holidays.Net will make reasonable efforts to accommodate amendment requests where possible.
4. Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is required for all travelers.
Insurance coverage should include:
• Trip cancellation and interruption
• Medical coverage and emergency evacuation
• Personal belongings protection
Lanka Holidays.Net is not responsible for losses incurred due to insufficient or absent travel insurance coverage.
5. Responsibility & Liability
Lanka Holidays.Net acts as an intermediary between the Client and independent third-party suppliers, including hotels, airlines, transportation providers, activity operators, and charter services.
While we work with reputable and established partners, Lanka Holidays.Net is not responsible for acts, omissions, delays, or service failures of third-party suppliers.
We are not liable for:
• Airline schedule changes or cancellations
• Weather-related disruptions
• Government regulation changes
• Political events
• Force majeure events beyond our control
In the event of travel disruption, we will make reasonable efforts to assist the Client in securing alternative arrangements.
Lanka Holidays.Net shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of enjoyment, revenue, or opportunity.
6. Privacy & Confidentiality
Lanka Holidays.Net is committed to maintaining strict confidentiality of client information.
Personal data is handled securely and shared only as necessary to fulfill confirmed travel arrangements or where legally required.

7. Force Majeure
In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, political unrest, public health emergencies, or governmental restrictions, Lanka Holidays.Net reserves the right to modify itineraries as necessary.
Refunds, where applicable, are subject to third-party supplier terms and contractual obligations.
8. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising under this agreement shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
